Carissa Brede, MA, LMHC, MCAP

Carissa has worked in the mental health field since 2008, starting her career at an inpatient psychiatric unit in New York State where she worked with severely mentally ill individuals. Carissa completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2011 and continued on to complete her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Community Psychology in 2015. In addition to her LMHC, Carissa also holds a Masters Certified Addictions Professional certificate and has managed Medication-Assisted Treatment programs for individuals suffering from opioid use disorders.
Over the course of her career, Carissa has held various leadership positions while also working directly with adolescent and adult clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Carissa strives to create a work atmosphere that promotes positivity, teamwork, and equality.
