Desiree Patrick, MS
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Residential Therapist
Desiree Patrick is a residential therapist at Youth Crisis Center. She began her counseling career in 2015 at an inpatient and intensive outpatient mental health facility. However, her work with individuals with mental health disorders and began much earlier through her experience in other non-counseling positions at a community mental health agency.
Patrick attended Florida State College of Jacksonville for two years before earning her bachelor’s in psychology from University of Central Florida. After spending a year in the field, she continued her education at Nova Southeastern University, earning a master’s degree in mental health counseling. Patrick is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and is currently working towards licensure. She is also a member of Northeast Florida Mental Health Counselor Association.
