Lonnie Erksine
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Family Link Therapist
Lonnie Erskine is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who received her Master’s Degree from Walden University in 2013. She is currently a Family Link Therapist. Throughout her residency Lonnie has worked in the nonprofit field, vocational and psychological field and outpatient counseling, worked with children, adolescents, their families, and adults.
Lonnie has experience in crisis counseling, advocacy, behavioral specialist consultant, mobile therapy, and outpatient therapy. As a Family Link Therapist, Lonnie works with children and adolescents who have behavioral, emotional, adjustment, truancy and trauma issues. She also works with families, children, and youth to help provide healthy and positive coping skills. She also works on effective communication skills and self-empowerment with her clients. Lonnie has experience working with individuals with trauma, grief, and self-esteem.
Lonnie utilizes, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Family Systems while working with clients.
