YOUTH CARE SPECIALISTS- RELIEF (As needed basis)
This position is responsible for monitoring youth between the ages of 10 – 17 in the residential shelter and ages 15 – 17 in the group home to ensure the safety and security of residents. Monitor residents daily activities and maintain daily logs for incident reporting, medication administration, and activities. Must be able to work various days, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work any shift, as needed.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma and at least 6 months experience working with at-risk youth. The ability to provide patience and understanding while de-escalating urgent and emotional situations needed. Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening. A valid Florida driver's license and safe driving record is also required.
